This 1983 CJ7 was found in Kingman AZ and was owned by a grandfather who sold if to finance something else for the grandkids. It was dry and rot free. I did my best and achieved a little less expensive CJ sale than some others and as it goes with many of my Jeeps it was sold to a person who called before it was listed.
As with all my CJs the core of the project was all OEM metal and no rot.
I had the floor color match lined to protect the metal and a nice respray of the original color. The new buyer wanted EFI so I added a tried and true Howell kit and removed the Weber it came to me with. I also had enough seat material to piece together the blue interior. I replaced a lot of the dry rubber in the suspension and it handled really well. Everything functioned as it was supposed to including original working gauges, lights, heat, horn, washer squirters etc. That is a goal of mine for everything I sell. Original 2 post radio hole dash panel covered w delete plate for the new owner to do whatever they choose.
The wheels were knock off OEMish w nice factory center caps drilled in place all with the intent to give that boring stock look and keep the price down.
