1982 Jeep CJ7 Laredo from Texas with REALLY nice original metal.

It has all the original parts you can't buy from China that make it a Laredo. 

This rare Jeep CJ7 Laredo has had zero rust repair and is all original metal.  People think they want a "restored" CJ unless you do one or are around an original or just only like shiny things...like a fake diamond.  "Restored Jeeps needed restored which means they were worn out.  It also means they are full of knock off facsimilie Chinese parts.  Original Jeeps that need healing are way better.  I've owned hundreds of CJs and am certain of this.  I've dissasembled countless Jeeps, built many and have found that correcting and fixing a good Jeep is the best final product.

Things like, chrome front bumper, rear bumperettes, Leather steering wheel and grab bar, oem chrome wheels, rocker trim, console and of course, those gorgeous seats.  So many people call me about their all original CJ Laredo they got a deal on and then seem surprised when they find out that 40 year old, USA made, limited edition parts are expensive.  

This Jeep (and my black one (which sold 10/27/22) have all of the hard to find Laredo items attached to never rusty original metal.  I wouldn't waste a shotgun slug on a Fillipinno tub no matter who sold it as they all come from the same place turning out the same miserable craftsmanship with inferior materials.  That aftermarket metal is so bad they make AMC look like quality!  

 My upholstery shop did these beautiful seats for me at great expense.  These seats and oem console are bolted to all original AMC Jeep metal in the floors with mostly original paint.  A previous owner touched up minor surface rust but they look better than a typical restored muscel car without carpet

 All gauges, clock, tach. lights, horn etc work and are original. This Jeep was flat towed apparently a great amount as the true miles are unknown but will be less than shown because the odometer turns when the Jeep is towed.  

Good running 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission.  1982 is a good year as its a widetrac and generally has less emissions than the newer ones.

Really nice frame cover from Rudy that fits better than the last one produced.  Clean engine bay with lots of original paint and upgraded valve cover.  

Original paint in the wheelwells...Really clean original underside.  That is original 40 year old paint in the wheel well

All tops doors etc are avilble but not included and as I always say, if I need a hardtop and hard doors on a CJ, I'd rather drive something else.  They really are bad cars and great toys.

5 beautiful original chrome wheels and center caps w a right sized 31x10.50r15 AT tires  Note the details like the correct emblems and the UNLEADED FUEL ONLY on the fuel fill bucket....all of those are original and not Chinese replacement parts.  Really nice chrome oem bumperettes.
