Please feel free to call to have this Jeep finished or priced your way with a hard top? Soft top? No top etc...
Otherwise it will be finished Rudy's way which may not be the way you would want it. It will sell quickly once published in finished form with a price. Sold 4/11 before it was priced online
Just in 3/2/11 This is a very rare original RED paint (most Laredos are black) rot free 84 CJ7 Laredo from Texas. 6 cylinder, 5 speed, power steering and brakes. It has new 33" Goodyear tires, clutch, exhaust and carb. It needs the windshield frame painted as it had a light bar ripped off of it. Also the right front fender was previously fixed a long time ago in lacquer paint and needs redone. 2 of the 3 seats are Laredo (driver's is not). Beautiful chrome bumpers, bumperettes and dealer installed step bars. Original padded roll bar, chrome mirrors, and grill overlay. Newer 2.5" Lift Kit installed.
Gone to paint 3/4/11 for windshield frame, fender and floor paint. Note the 'before' pictures of the floors to show how solid they are. I am having them painted as there was 27 years of scuffing. NO ROT WHATSOEVER! NO WELDING REQUIRED! This is being done only for asthetics as the outside of the Jeep is in original paint and nice enough the floors needed to be made more presentable instead of hiding them under carpet that will make the floors rust out when it traps moinsture.
Series of 'before' photos...
AFTER SANDING....
Shiny Metal Floors before paintUnder windshiled / cowl area has NO ISSUES just like the rest of the Jeep
Fender before repair (you can't see the check marks in this photo but it was only painted in front of the vertical seam below the "A" in LAREDO on the fender only). It looked like lacquer paint that had cracked which implies it was a VERY old dent repair. Before anyone asks....it was only dented VERY slightly which you could feel from behind. The Jeep was OBVIOUSLY not involved in a mojor collision or the hood would have been painted, as would have the rest of the fender. Common sense requested please.
