I purchased this already pre-built and 'experienced' Jeep CJ7 about 5 years ago and have significantly more in it than the sale price BUT the kind of fun you have with something like this is worth it.
It is an OFFROAD only Rocky Mountain built in Colorado Jeep CJ-7 that has done Moab Utah. It was created to play in the harshest, hottest most remote places in the country so it is reliable and built to perform. Locally I have used it at Wellsville, Haspin and KY.
I have always trailered it to the trails and had short road bursts to and from the trailer. It will run 60 mph but it is an OFFROAD JEEP! I am not selling it as a street vehicle. It was purpose built and not a mall crawler.
Here are some of the features...
It is a CLEAN WESTERN CJ7 with original floors and only the slightest rust. It is not a flaky, rusted heap that was cut up. It only has 94k ORIGINAL MILES.
It features am overbuilt frame for the extra flexing. The frame was not patched to deal with the rust found on every CJ in the Midwest. It was reinforced up front to climb and descend. This frame is still originally black in many places.
Has a full PRO DONE SHACKLE REVERSE for good the best handling on and off road
FUEL INJECTED 5.7L 350 engine for smooth running at any angle and good fuel economy.
SAFETY FIRST with a fuel cut off switch on the dash if you need to kill it for some reason.
It always starts easily and is not the smelly rig on the trail ride with your buddies. Features dual exhaust with a smooth tone. Not a kitten or an ear drum breaking dragster Burns no oil. No ticks. Very dry.
It has the legendary robust 727 Torqueflight auto transmission that he been proven tough. It provides smooth throttle over any obstacle while friends are slipping clutches and popping gears. It is mated with an ADVANCE ADAPTER kit. No issues since built and thoroughly tested and proven robust.
Indestructible Dana 300 transfer case with a CLOCKING RING so the center of the Jeep is flat. The case is rotated up for maximum ground clearance.
It has a custom made super thick HD skid plate to compliment the transmission and case. The Jeep is FLAT IN THE MIDDLE FOR MAXIMUM GROUND CLEARANCE.
It also has narrow Dana 44 axles with USA made SUPERIOR BRAND USA MADE axle shafts front and rear. All 6 shafts are moly!
4.56 USA made gears front and rear (not the cheap foreign gears most retailers sell)
Rear has the indestructible DETROIT LOCKER
Front is a selectable ARB LOCKER for easy maneuverability when being locked isn't needed and maximum traction when you do.
The CV joints are indestructible CTM SOLID FRONT U JOINTS at a cost of about $250 each.
4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES for premium stopping power in dirt or water. Yeah, that's a custom set up in the rear too.
LINE LOCK next to the driver. This is a feature for sitting on the steepest of hills and being able to get out. Pump the brake pedal, pull the lever and she sits wherever you leave it with all 4 brakes applied.
WARN ONBOARD AIR COMPRESSOR for the front locker.
Converted Acetylene tank as an accumulator for airing up tires etc. It is neatly tucked underhood to hold more air. It also has a petcock on it to drain water out if need be.
Real USA made 32 bolt BEAD LOCK WHEELS.
Almost NEW MAXXIS CREEPY CRAWLER 37x12.50 15 TIRES Extremely thick puncture proof sidewalls and sticky tread for 3 psi crawling. Current price for each of these tires is $381 each!!

Warn 8000 pound winch with remote on real HD front bumper. It is not a wimpy show tube bumper.

It has ALCAN CUSTOM MADE LEAF SRPINGS! Alcan is a custom producer of offroad springs that makes each set custom for the weight and purpose of the rig. Very flexy.
Each spring is attached with ROCK SLIDER u-bolt blates
FULL PRO WELDED CAGE TIED TO THE FRAME! Grab bars welded in for the passenger. Padding so you don't bump your head.
True rock sliders with steps on the side that actually slide and work hard to protect you and the Jeep. Not wimpy show pieces.

Air conditioning.... Yeah, it has AC. It worked when I got it 5 years ago and I never used it. It is currently blowing but not cold. Surely needs recharged from lots of offroading but I never used it.
Armrests on custom seats for nice cruising and comfort on the trails. Looks goofy when you first get in it but after you use them, you like them!
Fold and tumble rear seat. Easy to remove.
All lights, heater, wipers work.
It has some trail rash on the body but that makes it more fun to use while my friends with pretty Jeeps pucker or watch me have fun not worrying.
Priced to sell. All my rowdy friends done rowdied on down so I don't get to use it near as often as I once did. Seems a shame to see it sit.
I wrote all this and don't feel like selling my toy from all the great memories and reading how well it is built.
You cannot build this Jeep for twice my selling price.
Price is negotiable based on what you don't want included.
It comes with a clear Colorado title.
