This is a hand picked widetrac 84 Jeep CJ7 originally from Las Vegas, NV and just brought to Ohio to get what it needed to be the machine you now see.
It is originally rot free. It has 87k original miles with the 6 cylinder and desireable 5 speed manual transmission working just as it should.
It also has power steering and power brakes.
Optioned 20 gallon fuel tank over the typical 15 gallon one.
5 Nice orginal AMC Jeep chrome wheels and center caps and good 31" All Terrain tires.
Brakes just serviced.
Rare tilt steering!
Most importantly this has a professionally installed Mopar Port Fuel Injection kit installed for trouble free performance, reliability and economy at any altitude, temperature or angle if you are so inclined. This commonly cost $3k to $4k for installation. No significant leaks. I really don't see ANY leaks but it's an AMC product and they leak easy so I'm saying no significant leaks.
It runs out like it should and handles well. It is ready to be enjoyed and driven.
We had it painted because the sun had fully baked the paint until it could not be reshined. It was 110 degrees on the day I bought it. It was in fact rot free although. "Before" pictures here so you know this isn't a typical Jeep full of patches, rust, bondo etc. Here it is just before paint. Note the roll bar and the dash are removed to do this well.
Back from paint...
Pictures of the ORIGINAL rot free floor... This is a MUST have for any Jeep that gets Linex, Rhino etc on the floor. If I don't see this, I assume someone is hiding their patches and it is almost always true.
That is an original paint rot free floor. The scuffs you see are shiny metal.
Here is the back. The scale under the roll bar wire brushed away. NOTE: AMC primed the bodies, then installed the roll bar and painted them assembled. The black you see is 30 year old primer without rot.
The rest of this Jeep is beasutiful and now the floors are too. This is a pro done Linex job with color match tinting and UV protection for life long shine. This is not the cheap do it yourself roll on stuff.
Original CJ monogramed front seats, stock console and new front seat belts for safety sake.
We added a new Jeep dash pad, heater cables, grab bar, Indicator lights, marker lights, stainless trim, Kentrol mirrors, glove box insert, hood catches, front seat belts, knobs, cowl seal wipers and I'm sure more. It already had new poly bushings on the body to replace dry desert cooked rubber ones.
