46 year old original paint on dash, floors, engine bay and roll bar!

Exterior painted due to fading.  Nice driver quality paint.

I have shown the underside of the 46 year old windshield frame.  Most people don't know this but OEM windshields are the first places even desert Jeeps rust.  The aftermarket windshield frames look different and fit AWFUL.  I see people asking absurd prices for "restored Jeeps" with awful fitting flimsy Chinese  metal.

Look at the engine bay pics at the ledges on the insides of the fenders and the hand pockets for the hood.  These earlier (about 81 and down) CJs had these tells for originality.   Almost all resold Jeeps have had these parts replaced w cheap imitations.  The best Jeeps don't need everything replaced to look this good.

One year only highback seats special ordered and shown on the included original window sticker.  My upholstery shop did an amazing job with the original frames, purse straps and back pieces.  This upholstery is great for weather and durable.  Many people redoing these interiors fudge the tooled stripes on these seats as they are not reproduced.  The take material and sew threads to make it look like these tooled originals.  this Jeep was sold new with no console but of course I can add one.

Simple clean 6 Cylinder with Power Steering runs very well.  No smoke, ticks etc.  

Everything works.  All lights, gauges etc.  Radio is a placeholder to complete the dash.  No speakers but they can be added.

Drives and stops very well.

Automatic transmission so everyone can use this at the cabin, lake etc.

OR

I can convert this to a manual transmission in a couple days w zero cutting, splicing etc.  Just like it came from the factory.

4wd works as it should

Like new tires on rare OEM classic wheels.  Of course I can change these for you if the super simple original thing isn't what you want.  A bigger wider tire would v much change the attitude of this classic.  Spare is original

All tops and doors available but sold as shown.

This classic Jeep is a worthy investment toy for the cabin, car show, lake house etc.  You will stand out from the golf carts and side by sides.
