YOU CANNOT BUILD AN INVESTMENT QUALITY CJ WITH A BODY TUB FROM THE PHILIPPINES.   

IT CAN'T BE DONE.    

A Cobra kit car will always be a Cobra kit car.  I expect it can still be fun to own and use but it will not be an investment.   

 I am aware that your Jeep may be an heirloom and sentiment costs money.  Honor the memory and protect your investment with quality.  It will always be expensive and time consuming to restore a vehicle so why not do it well so that your investment has value when completed.  Your body shop and wallet will thank you!

Aftermarket tubs are often out of square by more than an inch even if they do bolt onto the frame.  They do not have nut inserts for anything,and they have wavy, thin metal panels that hang haphazardly ....no matter who sells them.   

I often have nice original Jeep CJs I take apart for many reasons and if you are doing a build on a rusty Jeep., please give me a call..  

I also often have OEM Jeep CJ frames that come from underneath the quality tubs I sell.  Another key is you can't build an investment quality Jeep CJ with a patched or crumbly frame.  Refer to the crumbling house foundation.  I occasionally have complete chassis as well for a jump start to your build.  My West coast differentials lack the salt pitting from years of being under a Jeep in harsh Winters.
